2. Hosting
The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
3. Server log files
With every visit your browser transmits technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer URL, browser and operating system. It is stored in log files to run the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to STRATO, log files are kept between a few days and at most 60 to 90 days, depending on security or operational needs.
4. Cookies
The website sets a single cookie: pll_language from the multilingual plugin Polylang. It stores whether you read the site in German or English and expires after one year. It only contains the language code and is required to show the language you chose (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
5. No analytics, no embedded services
We use no visitor analytics, no social media plugins and no ad networks. Fonts and images are loaded from our own web space. Comments are switched off.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for questions about a contract, otherwise (f)). We delete the message once it is dealt with and no legal retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
8. Changes
We update this policy when the website changes. The version published here applies.
